Enrolling Employees
Note :
Please proceed to this step once you already properly enrolled
a super admin.
To enroll a regular employee you will need to enroll them as User.
You may enroll employee's fingerprint, proximity card or PIN. Either
methods may later be used to clock-in and may serve as a failsafe
verification if the employee's fingerprint failed to be recognized by
the devices.
• The ID number is unique Number that is distributed to each
employee in the device. The range of ID number is 1-65535. The
ID number is unique and cannot be repeated or reassigned at a
later date.
• A single employee (single ID number) can register up to three
different fingers, one proximity card and one password.
Employee can user either of these methods according needs or
Company's policy.
• Employee's fingerprint, proximity card and password records
may be registered directly by the device or later copied and
transferred to any additional AMG FP-30 devices via AMG
software or USB drive.
Enrolling Employees Fingerprint
1. Press Menu > Enroll > User
2. Finger is selected by default, press OK to register fingerprint, as
shown in
3. The device will display ID number, Press OK.
*Note: The ID number ranges from 1-65535. The devices will
automatically assign the first unregistered ID number as the registration
number. You may use the numerical keypad or up and down arrow keys to
change this number. If the number entered is already registered, the
device will prompt "Invalid ID."
4. Press the employee's finger onto the "fingerprint capture" window
in attendance device. The device will ask to press finger three
times, Press OK to save changes.
Enrolling Employee Proximity card & PIN
Enrolling employee's proximity card or PIN may serve as a good
verification alternative and provide a "fail safe" verification options.
This process also called as "creating backup" this backup enrollment
requires an existing employee's enrollment by same ID number.
Enrolling Employee Proximity card
1. Press Menu key > Enroll > User > Card
2. Press OK to enter the interface shown below, press ESC
3. Enter an existing employee's ID number you want assign a proximity
card, followed by pressing OK key.
You may use numerical keypad to enter the desired employee ID
4. If the ID number entered exist, device will prompt "Card in" then
wave a new proximity card in front of fingerprint window. Upon a
successful card reading, device will display the acquired card OEM
number as shown in figure below.
Note:
if the ID number has not been registered device will display "Invalid ID" please
check if ID number is already properly enrolled to an employee.
OEM number is a numbers used as device (hardware) reference, you don't need
to make any record / reference as employee record in AMG Software.
5. Press OK to confirm the new card, and press OK to assign card to
selected ID number.
Enrolling Employee PIN
1. Press Menu key > Enroll > User > Password
press OK
2. Press ESC.
3. You will need to enter the desired existing employee ID number
enrolled in device. and press OK
Note:
if the ID number has not been registered device will display "Invalid ID" please
check if ID number is already properly enrolled to an employee.
4. Use the numerical keypad to input the password and then press OK.
you will be required to enter the 4 digits PIN twice, as shown below.
Press OK to save.
6. Press OK to confirm the new card, and press OK to assign PIN to
selected ID number.
